On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, the Constitutional and Foreign Affairs Committee met in Belmopan to examine and consider the Belize Constitution (Thirteenth Amendment) Bill 2025.
NGO Senator, Janella Chanona, was present at that meeting and delivered verbal remarks, which are expressed in writing in the letter below.
The Constitution and Foreign Affairs Committee is inviting the public to submit their views and offer recommendations on the Belize Constitution (Thirteenth Amendment) Bill 2025. Submissions are to be made no later than Monday, August, 26th, 2025.
